Flotation Therapy FAQs
How does Flotation Therapy work?
The flotation pod has 180 gallons of water with a high-density of Epsom salt. This allows you to float effortlessly. It removes the stress on your joints, bone and muscles to induce complete relaxation and healing.
The easy-lift, pivoting lid allows for a spacious and inviting entry into the pod. Depending on your preference, you will be able to leave the lid open or pull the lid down for total disconnection. Our float pods have a spacious rear ventilation gap to allow fresh air inside, preventing the buildup of heat or humidity.
The float pod has been engineered so that an adult can kneel comfortably in the pod with the lid in the closed position. Although we recommend the quiet dark as the best experience, the float pod is equipped with relaxing music and even allows you to connect your own music.
Floating is innovative technology helping people take their performance to the next level. The popularity of float therapy has grown exponentially over the past five years. Floating has become a mainstay among professional athletes, Hollywood sensations, and many more.

What are the Benefits of Flotation Therapy?
Flotation Therapy has many health benefits. Sensory deprivation, as it’s sometimes called, provides relief to sore and tired muscles and reduces pain and tension. Floating deactivates your fight or flight mode and instead activates your safe mode to allow complete relaxation. Floating reduces stress while improving creativity, elevating mood and improving performance. It will also alleviate back and joint pain, reduce injury while fighting inflammation and detoxifying the body.
Flotation Therapy helps improve the following conditions: rheumatism, chronic pain management, fatigue, infertility, high blood pressure, migraines, jet lag, anxiety, depression, insomnia and premenstrual tension.

Do I Need to Bring Anything?
What Happens When I Arrive?
You will need to bring a bathing suit or swim trunks and a bag to put them in when you are done. You also have the option to float nude.
We will provide towels, robes, slippers and ear plugs.
You will be required to shower before your float session to wash any oils or chemicals away that may be in your hair or on your body. You will have 30 minutes after your float session to shower and dress. When you arrive, you will need to sign a waiver and a technician will show you to the float room. At that time, the technician will go over the float session with you and answer any questions you may have.
Please do not:
Float with any oils, moisturizers, conditioners, perfumes or creams on your body or in your hair (we provide you with a specific organic body wash & shampoo to use before you float to remove all body oils). This is to ensure our water remains pristine, clean & pure.
